What in the world is an adrenaline nugget? I'll bet you didn't know that adrenaline came in nuggets, did you?
Well in case you were wondering, and I assume you are, since you've read this far, adrenaline comes in many shapes and forms. It often happens when you get in trouble, or when you get nervous—taking a test, running late, going on that first date—all those uncomfortable life situations.
However, there is a form of adrenaline that I'm going to offer you this week that's a whole lot more palatable—music! This week's show features several little gems that will get your heart racing and stimulate your brain. My very favorite era of music, aside from the indie music of RIGHT NOW, would have to be the early 1990's alternative music, especially the stuff coming out of the UK. I love the atmospheric guitars, and bouncy beats. It's as if they took the best of 1980's music, got rid of the synthesizers and affected vocals, and kept all the good parts. Sound Sessions, from Leeds, UK, have nailed this sound perfectly, and brought it up to date for the 21st century. You'll hear a great example of what I'm talking about on this week's show.
